At BollyMoveIt, we always strive to create kind and encouraging environments. Over the course of our sessions, our students discover their unique dance style and grow more confident. The Faces Behind BollyMoveIt
Led by the dynamic mother-daughter duo, Shipra Mittal and her daughter, BollyMoveIt is more than just a dance studio—it's a celebration of heritage and modern expression. With decades of experience in classical Indian dance and a passion for contemporary Bollywood fusion, they bring a unique, soulful approach to every class.
Their mission is to empower dancers of all levels to find their rhythm, build confidence, and connect with the vibrant heartbeat of Indian culture through movement.
Bollywood Dance Class
Learn basic Bollywood steps and two choreographies: one classically inspired and the other high-energy. Fun cardio opportunities, such as energetic dance parties and Bhangra Nights, are mixed into the class structure. Our physical locations are in New Jersey.
Performers

One-Day Workshops
This includes all single-day BollyMoveIt offerings, including workshops through civic centers, parks, and hosted events. Come learn fun Bollywood dance for a day!
Event Choreography
We provide custom-made choreography and personalized instruction for special events like festivals, birthday parties, and weddings. We also welcome unique fusion requests, mixing Bollywood with dance forms like salsa, hip-hop, or ballroom. Whatever your needs, we are excited to work with you for your important day.
Online Classes
We hold weekly online classes on Thursdays at 7 PM EST. Please email or DM us on our socials at least 48 hours in advance to join. This is a chance for people worldwide to participate in vibrant, accessible community fun!
Private Classes
Come to our private studio for personalized instruction. Bring up to two friends for a small group class centered on your song of choice. We provide specialized discounts for class bundles.
